I’m interested in coaching but I am unsure what I need. Can you still help?

Yes! Your first coaching session will include a 30-minute consultation to discuss why you are looking for a leader-development coach. During that time, we will work together to create a plan that works for you.

How many coaching sessions do I need?

Every person's needs are different. If you are just looking for a one-time pep talk, we can do that! If you are looking for a coach to be by your side for a certain project or indefinitely, we can do that too! Typically I meet with clients once a week for 8-12 weeks.

I don’t want to meet weekly, can we meet more than once a week, or once every other week?

Yes! During your consultation, before the first coaching session, we will determine a schedule that works best with your needs.

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

Leadership coaching is not therapy. The easiest way to think about it is- therapy often focuses on the past and focuses on “mental wellness.” While coaching focuses on the future and what you need to do to obtain your goals. Here is a great article from the American Psychological Association which talks about the differences in more depth.

I’m interested in a workshop, how do I know which one is right for me and my organization/community?

Before any workshop, we will have a planning meeting for up to one hour to discuss the needs and goals of the workshop. All workshops are individually tailored to fit your specific needs.
